Arsenal have agreed to sell Laurent Koscielny to Bordeaux and are planning to sign a new centre-back to replace their wantaway captain.
Koscielny went on strike earlier this summer by refusing to go on the Gunners’ pre-season tour, as he eyed a move back to his homeland.

Though a return to France on a free transfer was ruled out by Arsenal, BBC Sport’s David Ornstein claims Bordeaux have agreed to pay around £4.6million for the centre-back.
He is having his medical on Tuesday morning and the details of his contract need to be ironed out before Koscielny’s switch to the Nouveau Stade de Bordeaux is made official.

The Gunners hope to replace Koscielny with a new centre-half before the transfer window closes at 5pm on Thursday.
They are reported to have had a bid rejected by RB Leipzig for Dayot Upamecano earlier this week, while Daniele Rugani, the Juventus defender, is another target .
