This is to inform all students of the polytechnic, that the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP), MAPOLY chapter hereby suspends all academic activities on campus after series of deliberation on issues burning.
Chairman of the ASUP, Kola Abiola confirmed this to Press Club MAPOLY after an emergency meeting of the union at the union secretariat. The meeting lasted about three hours.
All students of the polytechnic are urged not to abstain from coming to school as the management hasn’t decided on whether strike holds or not.
ASUP MAPOLY chapter are to meet tomorrow again for further deliberation, as such, students are enjoined to disregard rumours that the school is on strike.
