Paul Pogba Travels With Manchester United Squad To Watford’

Paul Pogba has been included as part of Manchester United’s travelling squad for this weekend’s Premier League game at Watford after recovering from injury and illness.

The Frenchman has not featured for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side since the start of September and has been heavily linked with a move away from the club.

However, Manchester Evening News has reported that their photographers have spotted the 26-year-old boarding a plane from the city’s airport on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils will stay over in Watford ahead of Sunday’s 2pm kick off against the Premier League’s bottom side.

Pogba last featured for the Red Devils during the 1-1 draw with Arsenal on September 30.

During his absence, the World Cup winning star has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, with Real Madrid reportedly interested in signing the Frenchman.

On Friday, Solskjaer was questioned over the future of his midfielder but insisted Pogba is going nowhere in the near future.

‘He’s not getting sold in January,’ the Norwegian said in his pre-match press conference.

‘He’s training, but he’s not been training with us for that long. He’s training and that’s a step forward for us.’

Pogba was due to make his comeback in time for the Christmas period but Solskjaer said that he was not sure the player would return as his training was held up by an illness.

He said: ‘I’m not going to push him. We need him to be a 100 per cent fit.

‘The injury was something that really needed sorting but I don’t think I should give you all the medical information but he’s now feeling good and getting better – it’s worked.

‘Paul has been fantastic and we’ve got one of the best players in the world when he plays well and gets fit. He needs time.’

‘Nemanja (Matic) is back and Paul’s coming back, so we’re not as light as we were, say a month ago. We’re looking stronger like when we started the season.’
