Chelsea are said to have make enquiry about Red Bull Liepzig youngster Ademola Lookmon with the hope of securing his service should they failed in the pursuit on Timo Werner.
Chelsea are in the market for another striker following the rumor linking Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi with exit from the Stanford bridge.
Lookmon has struggled for playing time since moving to the Club from Everton and reports claimed that he is eager to quit Germany for a return to England.
Lampard is said to be interested in the 22 year old forward because of his ability to play any across different positions up front, something Giroud and Batshuayi lacked.
Lookman is valued at £35m and Chelsea hierrachy are reportedly ready to back their manager with funds to get the player should Leipzig ready to cash in.
Lookman has played for England at the age grade levels, but he’s still eligible to represent Nigeria at the international level.
