The Acting Rector, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji has stated that the polytechnic will begin to award Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech).
He stated this on Tuesday at the 3rd Annual Retreat, Organized by Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP), MAPOLY chapter.
Odedeji noted that the polytechnic will award the Degree certificate programme without affiliating with other universities.
He added that, the High Impact TETFUND Intervention of about 1billion naira would be accessible by the polytechnic before the end of the year.
He, therefore, implored the staff to work relentlessly in achieving the core value of the new MAPOLY, urging them to work in unity.
“We will begin to Award Bachelor of Technology without affiliating to anybody. We can stand on our own”.
Meanwhile, the ASUP Chairman, Babatunde Osifalujo commended the governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for paying backlogs of arrears, as he pledged support of the Union to the Management
