With Samsung just months away from launching its next-generation Galaxy Z Fold 3 smartphone, reports have detailed the specifications and the price that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 successor is tipped to come with.
Now, a new report talks about a critical feature that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will have the S-Pen support.
Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch’s Ross Young says that the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 will feature support for Samsung’s S-Pen stylus.
However, the way this support is included will be different from the one that is expected to be available with the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
As per the reports, the Galaxy S21 Ultra will feature support for the S-Pen stylus but it won’t have any extra space, like the one that is available in the company’s Galaxy Note series.
Although in the case of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung is making space for the stylus.
Young, in a Tweet, said that Samsung is reducing the size of the two displays in the Galaxy Z Fold 2 successor to make space for the S-Pen stylus.
He said that the main display of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be shrunk to 7.55-inch from Galaxy Z Fold 2’s 7.59-inches, while the cover display will be shrunk to 6.21-inches from Galaxy Z Fold 2’s 6.23-inches to make room for S-Pen.
In addition to that, Young says that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Flip Lite will get a slightly bigger 6.70-inch display along with a 120Hz display. Similarly, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will come with LTPO technology.

In a separate report, there have been hints of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 having a price tag that is similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 2. This means that it should cost around ₹1,49,999 in India.
