Manchester United winger Daniel James is already undergoing a Leeds medical ahead of a £25m move to Elland Road; Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival sees James fall down the pecking order at Man Utd; Jesse Lingard and Amad Diallo are set to stay at Old Trafford
Leeds United has agreed to a £25m fee with Manchester United for winger Daniel James.
Personal terms at Leeds are not foreseen to be a problem, with all groups hopeful a deal can be finalized before Tuesday’s 11 pm deadline.
The 23-year-old Wales international winger has started two of United’s first three Premier League matches of the season, including Sunday’s 1-0 win at Wolves.
However, the inevitable return of Cristiano Ronaldo to Old Trafford would influence James’ minutes, with Leeds, who the forward nearly joined before signing for United in 2019, looking to bring him in.
