Nigerian Disc Jockey, Florence Otedola popularly known as DJ Cuppy has granted university scholarship to an 18-year-old girl known as Oluwatobiloba.
DJ Cuppy announced the decision in a post on her Instagram page on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, noting that her foundation will handle the expenses and every resource she needs until graduation.
The music producer shared a video of her meeting Tobi and said she was inspired to help after hearing her heartbreaking story.
The young girl lost her dad and she started working as a caterer to make ends meet. Cuppy said Tobi worked behind the scenes at her photoshoot as a Pepsi brand ambassador.
She wrote; ”I feel like God wanted me to meet Tobi so I could change her life…. She was behind the scenes catering during my Pepsi photoshoot. At 18 years old, her resilience after a such a life tragedy inspired me! 💔🥰
Best believe Tobi IS going to school and the @CuppyFoundation will provide EVERY resource she needs untill she graduates! 🕊📚 #CuppyCares”
