Popular singer, Rema has reacted to an admission offer by Bowen University after he lamented about the ongoing ASUU strike.
Bowen stated that joining the university would save him from the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike.
Rema had on Monday pleaded with ASUU to call off the strike, saying he has not resumed school since admission into the University of Lagos (UNILAG).
Following his tweet, Bowen University which is located at Iwo in Osun State replied to the singer’s tweet, saying Rema will not be delayed by ASUU strike if he joined the private institution.
The tweet read, “ASUU can’t delay you if you’re enrolled in Bowen University.”
“Unilag private university don dey Toast me o, I’m blushing omg stop it,” Rema replied.
