Emerging information has it that some 14 abducted students of Greenfield University in Kaduna State, have regained their freedom.
According to Channels TV, they were released on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at a location along the Kaduna- Abuja highway.
The chairman of the Parents Forum, Markus Zarmai, and few others have gone to receive the students at a place where they were released along the Kaduna-Abuja highway.
Although the government and police authorities were yet to confirm the development, the parents of the abducted students said that they paid a ransom, in addition to providing eight new motorcycles to the kidnappers before they agreed to release their children.
