Don’t blame the man that slept with your wife, blame your wife instead – Portable speaks (Video)
Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable Omolalomi, has shared his thoughts on infidelity in marriage, stating that the blame should always be placed on the unfaithful spouse rather than the third party.
Speaking in response to the recent controversy surrounding Ijoba Lande’s wife, Portable remarked that if a man catches his wife cheating, his anger should be directed at her rather than the man involved. He argued that women who engage in such acts do so intentionally, knowing the consequences of their actions.
The singer also made a veiled reference to a married woman who participated in a ‘Truth or Dare’ game, suggesting that she was already inclined toward infidelity before engaging in such activities.
“She was obviously seeking some amorous affair right from the onset,” Portable stated, emphasizing that certain behaviors indicate premeditated intentions.
While condemning men who sleep with married women, Portable stressed the sacredness of marriage. He warned that such actions could bring misfortune, asserting that any man who engages in an affair with a married woman is exposing himself to “bad luck and evil arrows.”
The singer did not hold back in mocking Ijoba Lande over the situation, noting that turning to social media to expose his wife’s infidelity was an act of desperation.
Portable’s remarks have sparked mixed reactions, with some agreeing with his perspective while others criticized his stance as insensitive. The conversation surrounding infidelity in Nigerian marriages continues to be a heated topic, with opinions divided on who should bear the most responsibility in such situations.
